On this episode of Art Manuals Unwrapped we learn about the life and work of Andreas Vesalius, 1514 - 1564. He was Flemish and brings a different skillset as a physician and an anatomist. He was particularly noted for leading on the public and private dissections on human bodies. He created the art manual called ‘De Humani Corporis Fabrica Libri Septem’ (On the Fabric of the Human Body).
